Never stop assessing

When you are finished assessing anything, that subject is over and will never go further.  The same goes for anything in a business, whether it’s risk, sales, operations, or any other procedure.  The only way to improve something within a business is to assess the current situation and determine (a) if it can be improved and (b) what will it take to improve it?  Almost anything can be improved so due consideration must be given to resources required, but even minor changes can make a difference in your company, your employee’s attitudes, or customer perception. It’s tough to argue that any business owner or shareholder would not want to improve something because it typically improves profits as a result.
