What You Are Meant To Do

Jimmy Morris was a professional baseball player who at the age of 24 quit baseball after six surgeries.  When he learned in his late 30’s he was able to throw a ball 97MPH, he resumed chasing his dream of making it to play Major League Baseball.  In 2002, Disney released a movie appropriately titled “The Rookie” which chronicled the chase of Jimmy Morris’ dream.  One of the most prominent lines I have ever heard in a movie came from Jimmy Morris’ father —

“There comes a time when you have to stop doing what you want to do and start doing what you were meant to do.”
