Today our staff of over 100 employees enjoyed lunch paid for by our customers. I have never experienced a customer audience that is as generous as the craft industry. You are all amazing for showing our employees how much you appreciate what they do.

Yesterday we made a donation link available at the request of our customers to buy lunch for our staff. We do this periodically anyway, but after the overwhelming requests we opted to allow our customers to express their appreciation. The level of donations is mind blowing.
Yesterday I think I reached my lowest point during the past several weeks of the COVID-19 shutdowns and everything that’s going on. My attitude was the biggest issue.

Yesterday I mentioned the challenges with being compliant with COVID-19 regulations and guidelines and how I felt a lot of businesses may struggle with keeping up and interpreting the requirements. Today we received a visit from the Kentucky Health Department.
Today Kentucky released it’s requirements to be compliant by 5/11/2020 (one week from today) for businesses similar to ours, which means we have to be compliant by then, too.
